Gloriously Green

I long for the countryside. That’s where I get my calm and tranquility – from being able to come and find a spot of green. ~Emilia Clarke

The garden of love is green without limit and yields many fruits other than sorrow or joy. Love is beyond either condition: without spring, without autumn, it is always fresh. ~Rumi

Crape or Crepe?

So what is it? Do you spell your Myrtle with an a or an e?

Actually, depending on the region, people across the world use more than just these two variations. The debate rages over the spelling of the beautiful plant, which grows in different sizes and shapes, and blooms in a multitude of colors.

We do that with more than just words.

Sometimes, we get so bogged down in the trivial stuff. The unimportant matters. We argue. We debate.

We neglect the beauty. We fail to celebrate the difference.

So crape or crepe…does it really matter?

Just…Enjoy. Embrace. Celebrate.

It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences. ~Audre Lorde
