Jill, I must confess that after years of living in sweltering 90 degree temps in Florida, summer is not my favorite season. But, ten years in NC has given me a greater appreciation for it. Still, glad it only lasts a few months here. lol. Enjoy the blistering temperatures this week! 🙂
Having grown up in Virginia, I appreciate the change of seasons too. By summers end, I’m ready for the crisp fall air. This past weekend was beautiful, but the temps are rising again…and I’ve got poison ivy! First time ever! 😦
Thanks! It was worse when it started at work this morning, and I didn’t have any anti-itch medicine. I was scratching up a storm, not knowing what it was. Reminds me of when I had the chicken pox as a child. xo
