This edition of Exciting about Eating takes us to the Park Road area of Charlotte and to
Duckworth’s Grill and Taphouse. This neighborhood grill sports a full menu including salads, pizza, steaks, and yes, Philly cheesesteak.
Dora here. Check out that super sweet patio. And we were impressed with the interior. Clean and fresh, not like some pubs that smell like the night before.
For my lunch, I chose the Steak Fajitas served over a bed of sautéed peppers and onions. I chose not to include the beans or rice and opted for a side salad. The fajitas were great. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium with a tender texture. The peppers and onions had just enough crunch, the way I like them, not like a lot of fajitas with overcooked and mushy veggies.
Dora here. Yeah, yeah, I know that people eat with their eyes first and this plate doesn’t score points for presentation, but that sirloin was so tender I actually cut it with a butter knife. So maybe I need an update on my eyeglass prescription. lol.
Good thing service was quick and efficient because I drooled over this photo the whole time we waited. I could definitely sink my teeth into this goodie. Didn’t tempt hubby, though. Does it do anything for you?
What dessert picture would make you drool?
We rate this restaurant 4 forks out of 5 forks for a family friendly restaurant serving great food.
