Typically, this isn’t the case for me. I tend to get more words on the page by writing consistently. But occasionally I do find that a break from my routine is just what I needed to twist the spigot of words so that they flow again. What about you? Routine…love it or leave it?

Definitely leave it. If I am too routine about my writing I get tense and just plain miserable.
