I’m really bad about this. I try, I really do, to schedule a handful of days off between books. Even blocking off the days on my calendar, that itch to start cranking out the next book hits. The hero and heroine wave their hands or tell me a secret to get my attention, and the blank page taunts me until I get right back to it. What about you? Do you schedule down time, and if so, how do you stick to it?

I think the only down time I get is when I go away…and that’s iffy when I take my computer. However, I don’t work Sundays (and most Saturdays), so that’s something.

Same here, Sandy. Mostly. But I always lug along my laptop when we travel. 😅 Happy writing!

What’s “down time?” LOL! I’m the worst when it comes to vegging out!

I don’t know how you squeeze everything in, Jill. You must work 20 hours a day and not need much sleep. This would be me ->🤯😅
